Irish Language Immersion Weekend
Butte, December 12, 13, 14
This weekend class, beginning on the Friday evening, will include in-depth instruction in the Irish language, lectures and discussions on Irish history/culture and on Saturday evening, a traditional Irish dance.
The Immersion weekend will be taught by Professor Traolach “Terry” O’ Riordain a native of County Cork and a fluent Irish speaker. Terry is also the professor of Irish Language at the University of Montana, so you are in good hands and, best of all, he can’t flunk you (well, not officially anyway)!
Classes will run Friday-Sunday (Friday 6:30pm-9:00pm, Sat. 9:00am-noon/1:00-5:00/ 6:30-9:00pm and Sun 10:00 am-noon) and a minimum of 15 students is required. Cost of the total weekend is $150. To register or find out more information, contact erin [at ] irishmontana.com.
Following the success of this past summer's immersion week there will be another week-long Language Immersion Camp in Butte this July. More details to follow soon.
